While it's nice that Net::Daemon is being maintained, the style is a little
on the old side and it'd be really helpful if you added SEE ALSO links that
referenced more modern style projects like Net::Server.

If you'd be happy to add something like that, you're welcome to make me
put together a list of such projects and/or a patch :)

Hello Matt,

I have left this go for a while.  My time is very limited.  It has been 
so long I'd have to take the time to look up how to do it.  Still, I 
know it is not that hard.  If you put together a patch I will eventually 
get to it.

Malcolm, Looks like I have co-maint on this module. If you have no objections, I'll remove the 
four letter words from what ever Matt submits and put out a doc only release. Sound OK?
