Per-repo instead of per-org notification preferences #46

I contribute to a number of GitHub projects for my work, and would love to receive e-mail updates for them via my work e-mail rather than my personal e-mail. In the Settings I can select a different e-mail based on an organization I belong to, but I cannot make this choice for individual repos or organizations I don't belong to (with repos I contribute to or follow). I would love to set notification preferences for these kinds of organizations or repos.

This is possible now, notifications has changed a ton: https://help.github.com/en/github/managing-subscriptions-and-notifications-on-github/configuring-notifications

Could you be more specific? I read through that page and didn't notice where it describes how to chose where notifications are sent on a per-repository basis.

It is not possible yet to do this in GitHub; there are third-party tools which can provide a more flexible notification view though (https://github.com/octobox/octobox is an example). It only provides a web UI though, not filtering on notification email messages.
