Partition changing on main screen. (like Uloader) #225

Reason being. I would like access to a small WBFS partition for ISO forwarders
for APPS and EMUs. This way I can still utilize 897-898+ GBs for the 500 games
(WBFS limitation) and get to HomeBrew items without minimizing game count.

With this setup...you stay in WiiFlow. Its the prettiest place on the Wii, why
leave WiiFlow unless you run an app outside of it?

1. fat32 has no limit on games and has more features than wbfs
2. you can already switch partitions by pressing B+UP on the wiimote in the
main coverflow.

Instruction to use another partition.

I have tried multiple hard drives and Wiiflow does't access anything but WBFS1

Partition 1 - FAT32
Partition 2 - Tried FAT, WBFS FAT32
Partition 3 - Tried FAT32, FAT, WBFS

How do I acccess another partition?

Can NOT change partition, not only on the 4.2U I was testing on, but also 4.1U.
Both have Hermes v4, rev 17, latest Wiiflow 222/249. Neither 222 or 249 will
change partition. Running from WiiFlow from USB FAT32 partition from homebrew.
Tried using fresh .ini file on multiple hard drives with differ configurations
as seen above.

Just an update to the issue reported on gbatemp and wanted to log it here...
Previously reported in r92, have updated to r104 and still can't change
partitions either using up+B or the config menu options (I figured this wasn't
resolved yet as it wasn't in the change log - just wanted to log it here).

Setup: 1 - 1.5Tb drive with 2 WBFS partitions (~700Gb each) then 1 FAT32
partition (8gb) for a total of 3 partitions total... using CIOS 222 V5.

I have been changing partitions on multiple hard drives now. 1.5 Seagate
FreeAgent, 1.5 WD My Book Essentials, 1TB Verbatum, and 1 TB Toshiba. Use
Hermes v4. I have only had problems when using when I tried v5 Believe v5 and
v5.1 are best for Uloader. I have made little vid(s) of a 4.1U and 4.2U
displaying all of my IOSs with MMM...if you want one of let me know as I have
everything working on Wiis. I notice things stop working whe using Dark Corp
or Pimp My Wii...I have tried updating everything and I always have to restore
NAND when I have done this as the highest IOSs are not always the best. I do
minimalistic MODs (DogEggs for 4.1s) and ShadowSonics 4.2 MOD only adding IOS
35 for channel forwarders and Hermes v4 and IOS 202 for WiiMC. I think Hermes
v4 and maybe your .ini are where I would look first.

As fletcher said, it works on v4, but I'm not sure what status Invalid means...
This is still an issue with cios 222 v5. So I believe it should be left as
open until resolved. Even if it's changed to "Add support for cios
222v5/249r20."

Did you guys tried the latest r304 version? r92 and r104 are ancient.

Yes, I tried r304 as well... It does not change partitions with CIOS 222 v5
either.
