Doesn't work on ubuntu 16.04 and rx588 #2

It doesn't work on my gigabyte rx588. [2018-03-11 21:19:19] Failed to initialize device number 0. I have only one test card rx580. No other cards, no embedded GPU. Ubuntu 16.04 with latest ROCm. ROCm is installed correctly. HelloWorld from ROCm was compiled successfully.

Can you double check that you have the packages rocm-dkms and rocm-opencl installed, and then post your print out of clinfo?

I'm working on a new version that will support amdgpu-pro drivers, which is most likely the problem you're running into. I should be getting the new release out within a day or two.
