3 years ago It is still having problems with any RX 550 4gb till this very day sadly, only miner I found that works on anything RX 500 series and older for kawpow is nanominer and wow is that sucker a pain in the ass to config, have to do 3 separate script files and not get a single hyphen wrong, triple check then check again because she will not load due to that on nano miner on teamread yeah, connects to pool then either acts like it is not there even tho it places load and loads dag or it says nothing is in the slot idk why and there is no fixing it, heck even the block chain drivers and the past 25 drivers from this moment back do zip zero nada for it, same of the 2 outcomes, the irony being it use to work on both the 2gb RX 550 and 4gb model now does not? WTF 7 mh/s - 8 is decent income at present
Hello todxx, I recently downloaded and started playing around with teamredminer 0.8.1.1; however, I've run into an issue.
I have a testing rig filled with old hardware, listed below: OS: Windows 7 Motherboard: DG45ID Motherboard CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad q9650 RAM: 8 GB of 800 MHz DDR2 GPU: XFX Rx 550 4GB
Here is the issue: The miner believes my GPU is dead and reports a hash rate of 0.00 h/s, despite connecting successfully to the Ravenminer pool, generating the DAG, and appearing to put the card under load due to elevated temperatures.
Here is how I configure the miner from a terminal run as an administrator: teamredminer.exe -a kawpow -o stratum+tcp://us.ravenminer.com:3838 -u address.Test -p x --temp_limit 85 --temp_resume 55
Note: The "address" is actually filled with my real public Ravencoin address, I just didn't have it on me at the time of writing.
I tried switching pools to 2miners as a test; however, this did not fix the issue. I'm currently running the latest stable Radeon driver, Adrenaline 21.3.1.
Not sure how to proceed from here. Let me know what other information you need to help diagnose the issue (e.g. terminal screenshots, log files, ect.). Hope we can get this resolved. Thanks!
