@tofumatt picks the loo roll holder. (run by me first pls kisses!)
Building something like this to wall-mount on the sticky-out bit in the corner might cover most of our "need-to-have-at-hand" type bits & bobs: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/182815488/apothecary-cabinet-bathroom-organization?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=medicine%20cabinet&ref=sr_gallery_45
Good lumber source right off the tram here: http://www.thistlebuildingsupplies.co.uk
You bought shelves, right? I think this is set; I'm adding things like loo roll holder to the post-install because it will likely be free-standing and isn't time-sensitive.
I bought shelves but I still want a medicine cabinet—something like this (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/257145568/carved-wood-medicine-wall-cabinet) or (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/499992967/rare-vintage-old-wooden-drug-store. We'll need to be careful width-wise so I haven't ordered yet; I think it needs to be under 12" but I'm not entirely sure on that just yet.
Shoot, gotcha. Sorry for closing early.
Given there will be a mirror next to it I think I like the glass design over the mirror (I like that second one with the cross!)
Though I could see the usefulness of the extra mirror for quickly popping into the room or for two people getting ready. That said there is MORE space in there now (no more radiator by the door) and we could already fit two of us so a mirror isn't required.
I'd like to get a shaving mirror anyway, so I'm aiming for/hoping for a glass, rather than mirrored, door. Once I'm home and can measure the space a bit better, I'll source/purchase something!
The shaving mirror is purchased, but doensn't seem to fit nicely into the space. I built out a storage cabinet but it's too bulky.
Instead, super-simple tiny shelves may be the right solution here, something along the lines of these: https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/bathroom-wall-storage-ideas-diy-organizers-259254
We did this! 🎉
Obviously not super set in stone and will to some degree depend on the selections made in #47 and #48. I'm thinking simple wood shelves, maybe a vintage medicine cabinet as well.
