Safari Extension #635

thiagogsr commented 8 years ago

I would like to see it in Safari. This extension looks so useful. I know that Safari charges to host extensions, it is so bad, but if it is possible, I would be happy :)

IndrekV commented 8 years ago

Thank you for your input. We will take this under consideration but not in near future. We are currently focusing porting the extension for Firefox.

thiagogsr commented 8 years ago

I see, no problems, until it be done, i will keep using the desktop version :)

Toggl Button in Safari will be nice!

mickiewicz commented 7 years ago

I agree, It would be awesome to have it in Safari.

IndrekV commented 7 years ago

Sadly this is not in our near future plans. I'll leave it open as we might take another look once the Firefox version is working as well as Chrome version.

keirwilliams-old commented 7 years ago

Any news on this? Safari is my main browser and I'd love to be able to use Toggle integration in it.

👍 The best gift for all Mac users of Toggl

jonkratz commented 7 years ago

I see that @IndrekV indicated this is not in near future plans in late 2016. However, can we place any hope in the enhancement label being added recently? Or is this still not in the cards anytime soon?

jjozsi commented 7 years ago

I understand that Chrome's user base is massive but no amount of extensions could make me use Chrome instead of Safari on a Mac. The single reason I don't use Toggl is that there's no Safari extension so it won't work in my favourite project management tools. Please re-consider building one, many Mac users I know are faithful Safari users.

+1 on this, Safari is the best browser.

mateusz-peczkowski commented 7 years ago

+1 to Safari !! It is the best browser I ever had!!! :)

It will be big gift for users. Remember that at OS X there is more it specialist, so if you create an extension to safari It will help each of them ;)

Sorry, +100500 is too much. +1..+100 is okay.

(FWIW, status of this is the same as before - no plans in near future, but no reason against it. PRs remain welcome as ever...)

Come on! I cant believe Safari is not supported, the RAM eater (Chrome) is not serious on macOS and supporting Safari is an easy task... I've made several browser extensions for Safari/Chrome and you just need a few "if" so far!

Someone said up there, "Safari charges to host extensions" but you charge me for the service, so money should be not a problem. As a premium user I want the extension for my browser. I am not saying any browser, I am saying Safari...

andrewpokora commented 6 years ago

The lack of support for Safari is a shame
