Riekling as province modifier on solstheim #44

Open Anurag-Shah opened 5 years ago

Rieklings should give a +unrest +max autonomy -tax modifier on solstheim, with a decision chain to clear them out which does that with a whole bunch of reikling rebels, till finally, it subsides and only occasionally pops up with a new rebel stack

Could we use the 'native aggression' mechanics or is that only for when the province is being colonized?

Thats only when a province is being colonized, so we would have to use rebels. There might be a workaround by spawning "NAT" regiments, but I doubt that will be effective at all

Do you remember how if you don't have the dlc that allows you to set your native policy you get one event that basically sets your native policy for the whole game? We could do something like that? Give the player the choice to try to clear them out which spawns the rebel stacks or try to trade with them which decreases the spawn rate of rebel stacks?

We could do a decision, yeah. Basically, have a decision "set policy towards rieklings" decision triggers an event, which lets you choose a passive stance (extra autonomy but no rebellions) an aggressive stance (full province benefits, but the occasional rebel stack spawns), a trading stance (province gets 100% autonomy but its removed for trade power and production like the burghers) and finally an extermination stance (few large rebel stacks spawn over the next couple of years, then the province modifier goes away [but with some kind of event that can bring it back, they are supposed to be a pain in the ass its easier to ignore after all])
