Hello, this was discussed a few times - "decryption failed" means wrong password. Please note that changing password will make it work for new profiles, not for pre-existing ones
Interesting, also the first password that was setup did not work, that was the reason why I changed it
if you want to test, create a new fake profile in Authy and try to migrate it. As it will be encrypted with the newly set password, decryption will work
Tried to create a new entry without changing the backup password and try to decrypt it with the backup password, but also not possible :(
Thanks. We will retest to make sure Authy did not change anything at the backend level
It appears that Authy is blocking these requests, which unfortunately impairs the functionality of our tool.
Thanks for checking!
If the following message appears: "Please provide your Authy TOTP backup password:" and the correct password is given, (Changed also many times, turn off and on the backup functionality in the app) the decryption does not work properly for all the entries.
"Failed to decrypt token XXX YYY:test@test.de (authenticator): decryption failed
