dev env: sample pages and menus #2

After following the installation instructions I don't have any records in pages, menu_pages, menu_links, menus tables.

Maybe it's a good idea to have a php script (external or in Slick_App_AppControl __install method) or a list of sql insert queries that generate sample data in the fields resembling the one you have live on the site, like at least one page/post on every section, this could help people that want to contribute to the project, especially if they're designers.

Lol! Wish I found this yesterday. I thought it was just me (most of the time it is :)

Anyone have any suggestions in the mean time? I've tried to insert a few sql queries with no success.

I will have an updated SQL file with some default data sometime tomorrow

I updated the installation script as well as the default clean database file. Try clearing out the database and re-installing. I also added in some default data which you can import into the database after installation. Its located in /data/default-data.sql . Has a few example posts, menu items, pages, profile fields etc.
