ability to choose "identity" before making a post #20

an interesting suggestion we had come up a while ago.

Have the ability to choose what "identity" you want to post with before making a forum thread or reply (or even a blog post... ?). Options should be "Real Name" (if they have one set in their profile), "Username" (just their normal username) and "Anonymous". Anonymous option should actually be relatively anonymous, no record of what user did it or their IP etc.

This could be made into a group privilege via a permission called "canChooseIdentity" or something.
