If you want to tag a specific member, it would be convenient not to have to know their exact forum name. Like tagging works on Twitter, Facebook, and Slack -- possible choices come up automatically as you type.

Related (and didn't seem worth a separate issue), did @JohnBarrett ever get fixed so it didn't just ping @John? I assume a bigger "@" issue was/is to blame?
