Gitlab Sync Working In Browser Not Desktop #2432

Describe the bug Over the recent weeks we have heard a few users having trouble with connecting to Gitlab on Figma's desktop application, but have no issues when connecting to it on the browser version. We are still investigating this bug as we're unsure as to what is causing it to work on the browser but not on the desktop. Wondering if this is in any related to the recent ticket that fixed a change on Gitlab's end #2339

Hi

can you put a number to " a few users" ? We are currently (for the last ~5 weeks) facing issues with some users (in my case around 5) having their access interrupted for the Desktop Application, but browser and normal git interactions work just fine.

Our issue was first mentioned in a ticket on 14th November, so probably on the newest version at that time which had the bugfix you mentioned from the 8th November in it.
