Wrong device lists on 892: generic names and no "Internal Speakers" #109

Hi toleda!

Just completed the procedure with the most up-to-date version of the command and ID = 1. The audio technically works, but the device list (line-in, line-out...) looks weird as it shows only "generic" names.

Additionally (dunno if related) the front-panel connections don't work: plugging headphones has no effect (Bitfenix Prodigy case with HD Audio connections)

I'm going to prepare all the attachments you've mentioned on Problem Reporting procedure, I'm gonna attach here as soon as possibile.

hope this help and tnx for support! gabriele

realtekALC.kext is not loading, confirm EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.12/realtekALC.kext If present, attach requested files.

got it! Effectively, it was not there. tnx for suggestion!

Confirmed working except for headphones jack in front panel (confirmed HD audio).

in the meantime, I decided to opt in for the vt9696, but I've a Sierra installation on a secondary disk, too. I'm going to wipe it and make a clean install to install cloverALC there, to better testing. I'm going to post results here, them.
