10.11.4 - Link failed (error code 5) and No Audio Devices #70

OS X 10.11.4 GA Z77X-UP5TH Clover with flags BooterConfig=0x28, CsrActiveConfig=0x3 ALC 898 (working in 10.11.3)

No Audio Input or Output Devices after install audio_cloverALC-110_v1.0r10.command and reboot.

Fix:

  1. Remove /Library/Extensions/AppleHDA898.kext
  2. Reboot
  3. Re-Run audio_cloverALC-110_v1.0r10.command
