PDF [Guide] for Non-Native BCM94352 HMB told me to install the card in step 1 - kernel panic on boot #20

Hello,

I am following the [Guide]_airport_half-mini_details.pdf.zip PDF to get my AzureWave wifi card working.

I have a stock ThinkPad x220 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

In the installation steps in the PDF, it tells me to install the wifi card first. After installing the wifi card, I get a kernel panic on boot.

Am I following the PDF correctly? After some googling it seems like I need to disable the airport broadcom kext. Should I have removed this kext before installing the card?

I appreciate your help in advance

What wifi card was removed? What did the KP message say? Kext? Does your ThinkPad have a wifi whitelist? Blacklist?

Hello, I also get kernel panic on boot

  1. My WiFi card is BCM94352HMB,OS version is 10.12.5(16F73)
  2. I download the last version of FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext from Rehabman and then install it to S/L/E with KCPM utility pro
  3. at last I add kernel patch use Clover configurator just add single patch that you give the patch file config-bcm94352-120 and the comment is 10.12-BCM94352-fvco-darkvoid and then reboot , the kernel panic appeared.

Can you give some suggestion to solve this problem,Thank you very much! @toleda this is some information: 1. kernel panic

  1. DPCIManager Status.txt

  2. hardware-wifi

  3. hardware-bluetooth

  4. hardware-usb
