not sure if relevant, but lobste.rs has a cool thing showing their web of trust (who nominated / added a user to their site). could be cool here
Did we want the names to be a link to the user's github profile? Currently they are not.
My initial idea was a
.txt
withName <mail@domain.tld>
per entry but not sure if everyone want's his email listed. Maybe another format? I'm open for discussion/suggestions
git commits usually already include an e-mail address. Whatever appears in git log will already be pretty public. I think this is safe.
I'm very happy for my name / github account / email address (alex@dixonary.co.uk) to be listed! It's true that not everyone will definitely be happy with that but we can always check per person.

If someone is hiding their email address on GitHub it will be shown as <username>@users.noreply.github.com
. I would say you shouldn't require a public email address, but that is your choice (i'm not in toltec )
Linking to their github account is likely enough.
Add the links for now.
I would personally prefer the Name <email>
format, but seeing that some members also don't really specify it I decided to keep it to the GH Names for now.
@LinusCDE Looks like we have all the reviews. Do you want to do the honours of merging?
As discussed in todays meeting.
Advantages:
For now I just added the gh tags. My initial idea was a
.txt
withName <mail@domain.tld>
per entry but not sure if everyone want's his email listed. Maybe another format? I'm open for discussion/suggestions(The order is my presumed order of entry for the members. If we decide on adding people only to the toltec repo, maybe we should add types/categories of members later on.)
