fbink-doom doesn't display anything on rm2 #856

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Install fbink-doom
  2. run rm2fb-client doom
  3. Console output, but nothing visible on the screen

Expected behaviour There should be screen output.
