Data freeze #289

Open GiulliMo opened 3 weeks ago

GiulliMo commented 3 weeks ago

Hi my data freezes after a certain amount of time. When you look at the picture of my diagram you can see the wake up point. Worked for 3 month and then stopped working properly. Version 0.13.4 on an raspy IMG_4209

zqnikals commented 3 weeks ago

IDK if i have same issue but yes, few months all works well, but now i cant see AC in Power and AC out Power changes. Al data is unknown or freezed.

Nid01 commented 3 weeks ago

Can you please check, if the data gets updated, when you open the app on your smartphone? That's an issue more people have in the last few days.

zqnikals commented 3 weeks ago

yes. that was the first thing i did

GiulliMo commented 3 weeks ago

In the HA app I have to check the integration with its data. After that the data gets updated. I have an iPad where the app is open 24/7 but there isn’t any update of the data stream by having the app opened.

captainkoenig commented 3 weeks ago

I confirm the same issue: data freeze and restart only if I also open the ecoflow app on my smartphone. As soon as I close the app data freeze again. Every thing worked fine surely up last 12 Aug 2024. I am currently running HA inside a Windows 10 Hyper V virtual machine with HA Core 2024.8.2 and Operating system 12.4. About Hassio integration release it is 0.12.4. HW: Delta max 2000 with Auxliary battery

nounou02 commented 3 weeks ago

Same problème with a raspberry with latest config.

hauzii commented 3 weeks ago

Same problem here. After a while I no longer get any data in Homeassistant. As soon as I start the app on my smartphone it works again for a while.

Ecoflow Integration 0.13.4 Core 2024.8.2 OS 13.0 Frontend 20240809.0

albertomercurio commented 3 weeks ago

Same for me. I have also added some energy sensor with the Riemann Sum integration, but if the power is freezed I can't get the correct value of energy

tomungh commented 3 weeks ago

I was having the same issue and what worked for me was not opening the app or restarting the integration, but making a change to the Max Charge Level. As soon as hassio-ecoflow-cloud sent the new number to the cloud, all the other data came back.

How can your change update the values? I technically don’t understand the point.

hauzii commented 3 weeks ago

@GiulliMo i think @Alan-James means with the Ecoflow integration image

tomungh commented 3 weeks ago

Yes exactly. The value I changed was "RIVER 2 Max-#### Max Charge Level".

Sadly that didn't work every time, and today I think I also had to have the Ecoflow app open.

Denis-Heink commented 3 weeks ago

Same issue here. Ecoflow Powerstream 1590.

n4rrOx commented 2 weeks ago

Same issue here with River 2 (with not updated values in HA). Changing "Max Charge Level" does not have any effect (without opening the app) as well as reloading the the integration.

If I open the app and reload the integration again, all entities becomes unavailable. If afterwards I shutdown the app, the values updates.

I will try to reproduce my described procedure, if the values are outdated again.

n4rrOx commented 2 weeks ago

After around 30 mins after the last (only one) update, I reloaded the integration again and the entities became unavailable. Another reload had no effect. I opened the app and as long as it was opened, I saw no changes. After I force closed of the app and reloaded of the integration, I still had no changes (unavailable). I also tried to wake up the River 2 with the button and reloaded again...but no the same.

So unfortunately I couldn't reproduce my first observations.

Bonsoir la communauté, J'ai le même soucis avec le gel des données. Tout rentre dans l'ordre quand j'ouvre l'app ecoflow, mais que pour une heure environ.

Merci pour l'investissement de tous

Denis-Heink commented 2 weeks ago

Is there already a solution or a workaround for this?

Xennon57 commented 2 weeks ago

Existe-t-il déjà une solution ou une solution de contournement pour cela ?

Bonjour, Pas ma connaissance.

GiulliMo commented 2 weeks ago

Nope

Xennon57 commented 2 weeks ago

Non

tensor5g commented 2 weeks ago

While completely impractical, if you leave the app running with the screen awake on a spare android device, the data will continue to synchronize with home assistant.

Dreyk007 commented 2 weeks ago

I have the same issue. Pretty much everything written above is confirmed (including changing the maximum charge level updates the data).

My station is Delta 2.

paul933 commented 2 weeks ago

I have tested the pre-release v1.1.0-pre4 This new version can work with the official EcoFlow API. You need to create a developer account and request an API key here.

For my PowerStream, it works! 👍

tomungh commented 2 weeks ago

I've now installed v1.1.0-pre6 and it does update more often, but not as often as configured.

I don't know where to add my new API key though, so it's currently working quite well without it.

davp81 commented 2 weeks ago

After all these issues I have installed now v 1.1.0-prev6. The API function gives me the error unknown.

But with the normal log in and a refresh rate of 3 seconds. (Standard is 5) it seems to work now, even if the app is closed.

v1.1.0-pre6 installed. iOS App closed. Gets online .... some times. Even when online, entities' values do not always refresh. Status (blue color is online). "Fridge" = Delta Power in logged at HA by a power plug. "Delta2 AC in Power" Data logged with Public API credentials. Actual entity update is every... 3 hours!! Delta online

AndriiZakhliupanyi commented 1 week ago

@dpa68 hi, have you tried the v1.1.0-pre7? and did you use the Developer API from EcoFlow account?

dpa68 commented 1 week ago

@AndriiZakhliupanyi have not tried the v1.1.0-pre7. Will not. Got 2x Shelly plugs and get in and out power & energy, every second. Can also disconnect from grid and automate PV energy diversion. Ecoflow's API and cloud integration do not worth it and that's not a problem of this integration of course, but Ecoflow's practice to restrict access.

PhilNS commented 1 week ago

Same issue here as everybody on data freeze. As documented also in logs in #302

So basically

A) (stable) version v0.13.4 freezes data flow to HA integration unless the official Ecoflow app gets or remains opened on a mobile phone. Which I suppose to be a bit unpractical.

B) Instead the pre-release v1.1.0-pre6 (or pre7) seems to be working but it requires a developer API

API which I have anyway and I still get a too small subset of the data from a direct REST call to Ecoflow. {"code":"0","message":"Success","data":{"soc":1,"remainTime":5999,"wattsOutSum":0,"wattsInSum":0},"eagleEyeTraceId":"ea2a6a5905072575670505694072007","tid":""}

What is then the general recommended action: 1) wait for v0.13.4 to be fixed 2) move to v1.1.0 preX (and so make it the stable one ?)

AndriiZakhliupanyi commented 1 week ago

@tolwi Hello, could you please provide information on the planned release date for the stable version 1.1.0, which will replace 0.13.4?

Adfri4852 commented 6 days ago

@tolwi Hello, I have the same problem with 0.13.4, I get only data when the android app is open. If i take the 1.1.0 pre6 then can I input the EcoFlow access key and the data seams to be always available.
