Overall you have a solid analysis of the data. You now need to work extensively on the presentation of the results. I haven't read all S550 comments yet so this list may overlap (hopefully not contradict) theirs. Feel free to discuss here any doubt you may have on how to draft the second report.
1) Presentation and writing. You have all presented the results differently and some tables are more clear than others.
In particular, I like the variables description in Zhen's report and Table 4 in Jingyi to present the final results (although more work is needed in its description in the main text).
I like the correlation plots in the reports. However, none of you gave a comprehensive description of the plot. How were correlations calculated? what does the sized of the circles mean?
There are many gramma mistakes in the reports that were not pointed always noted by S550 students, so please review the writing extensively before submitting a second draft.
2) Analysis. While all of you describe the process of selecting a final model, you've given different emphasis to each part in the report. Think jointly what needs to be described in the report and what can be included in an Appendix. For example,
Zhen's Table 4 is useful but can be included in the Appendix as further checks performed during the analysis.
Jingyi was the only one that included a discussion of public vs private sector. Are you going to include this section in the report? if so, it needs further work. There are 2 ways to approach the problem: i) to focus only on a subset of the data, ii) to use all data and a variable to distinguish the groups. These 2 options were not compared in the reports.
Linda ranks variables according to their p-values. Note that p-values are not a measure of importance of variables in the model.
