Open Nemo12123 opened 2 years ago

I have a crafting terminal set up next to a level 4 beacon and connected it to the advanced wireless terminal but it’s not letting me access it across dimensions.

Does it work on medieval Minecraft?

in my studies and use, the area that the wireless terminal is bound too needs to be chunkloaded, or else when the terminal calls for it, it has no idea it exists or where to go. I reccommend chunkloading your entire area that envolves your chests, and tom's storage components.

How would I do that?

I reccomend the Open Parties and Claims mod that allows you to force load chunks, i forceload chunks from my journey map with this mod.

if you do have the journey mod and that mod installed, simply open your journey map, Shift Right click on the chunk square you want to claim, then Shift right click on it again to force load it, forceloaded chunkc will have dotted lines throughout the claimed chunk box on the journey map. if you want to ever see in action how i did that, let me know, we could get together on discord and i can share screen and nshow you what i do and how i have mine setup.

That would be helpful

Open Xaero's map claim the chunks where your Beacon is and make them forceloaded by shift clicking while selecting the chunks to load.

This very much is still a problem as this topic has a point i am using it too and even have a chunkloader mod long with a map loaded in that area and in the nether it is saying it is out of range even with a beacon set up along with the entire house and it loaded with the beacon the mod for the chunk loader is Chunk Loader and i also am using Xaero's map to make a chunk a chunk clamer with it 04 02 2023_19 16 40_REC

Added an indicator to the terminal if it sees the beacon, make sure the beacon is in a 8 block radius.

it still doesn't work for me in long distances in the overworld and neither in other dimensions, the chunks are forceloaded
