No more segfaults #2

This fixes the segfault and showing the empty container issues.

Ah I'm sorry, I completely forgot that there was a remove_actor() delegate for this. I removed the PPA link temporarily since we've just moved to a cmake build system and can now build standalone. Feel free to re-add it once it is confirmed that everything works. Thanks for the branch and sorry for the long long delay!
