You can keep the social icons at the very top of the existing footer (Next to the "Archives" footer heading).

Collections list should start with: Collections Guide to our Collections [1.5 line space] Personal Institutional Oral History Collection Rare Books (remove the BGI and Genetech, for now)

Please keep the graphics icons. You can use the font awesome that is found on the archivesspace.cshl.edu footer.

This should appear in the social media icons section of the footer for the Library, Archives and Center. Remove the flickr icon and link. SmugMug icon should link to: https://cshl.smugmug.com/

Rethinking Fat Footers

• On the sub-sites, allow more than just links in the footer. We wanted to place text (e.g. phone number, hours, sub-headers, etc.)
• Allow the use of Font Awesome in the link labels
• Enable the placement of "Online Librarian" widgets.
• Consider removing the main site fat footers on the subsites.

Announcement/Alert Banners

Save a cookie, so that once a person acknowledges the privacy policy or Covid Alert, the will never need to be bothered with the alert again. When you click on search, you do not see the search field, because it is obscured under the alert banner.
