Can you add a tomahawk-trayicon.svg to your code? In this way it is easy to theme your distro with a proper icon that adheres to the icon theme look. Your icon stands out now. A minor issue I know but one that can may be easily fixed. screenshot from 2016-09-03 07-15-43

Sounds reasonable, yeah.

If you're using the Qt5 Build (which I totally recommend at this point), Tomahawk uses SNI standard which allows theming icons
