When I saw this, I checked your inst directory for a CITATION file and I didn't find one. This is probably the reason why this message is coming up.

Suggest that you create a CITATION file in the inst directory. I think Hadley discusses this in his r-pkgs book.
Inside that file, you use the bibentry() base function to create a bibliographic entry for your package.
