- Still valid issue. The change should be fairly straightforward; it effects 
data model, but changes are minor. Where this is going (VertNet model, cloud), 
makes this much more important, to be able to import and export DarwinCore 
archives
- May fit with under future funding

May be this becomes a critical issues. Rebioma Data Portal must be able to 
import and export DarwinCore archives, technically an api is already developped 
to read this Dwc Archive 
http://code.google.com/p/darwincore/wiki/DarwinCoreArchiveReader. I think this 
is feasible with actual funds and with Malagasy developers. In that case 
Rebioma Data Portal is the center portal data management for MadBIF
