Also, Travis tests fail. It seems that the reson is insufficient shared memory size: "Many standard Linux distributions do not allow large enough shared memory blocks. You can fix this issue if you have root privileges, or ask you system administrator to do it. To enable the shared memory modify or add the following lines to /etc/sysctl.conf" This is from chapeter 3.3 in the STAR manual.
I don't see a good way of modifying Travis's /etc/sysctl.conf
file, neither do we want to force users to do that. What we could do is add a parameter that would switch to this setting and you could use it. I don't know... @tomazc , what do you think?
Share STAR index in memory by this option. So I can run iCount map for multiple samples in parallel.
