Where do I find Templates? I am new to Tomboy-ng, but used the old Tomboy for years with joy. With the old version I knew where to look.
Like Tomboy, each template relates to a particular notebook. If you open the Search Window, the notebook (and template) names appear on the left hand side, right click a name and you get a popup menu. Edit, create etc ....
If you don't already have any Notebooks, they are created from within a note, I really need to add the ability to create a new notebook from that same popup menu. Its not very intuitive as it is IMHO.
While it was a long time ago, I thought original Tomboy worked the same way ?
Just a heads up, I note you are using 0.33d, I have discovered some bugs in it's Markdown import / export, please be careful if you use any of that. Especially the Github Sync. I expect to rollout another, updated, beta pretty soon that works with MarkDown much better !

Thanks, Davo!
In my old Tomboy-version I could define the template under settings/tools. The "new" solution I like better as I now can create several templates :-) It is, however, more hidden.
I will check for updates of 0.33d. :-)
0.33e is there now, few minor fixes but if you use the github sync, a major improvement !

OK, fixed in newly released v0.34, will close this ticket.
When making a new note based on a Notebook Template, the extra content that may (or may not) be in a template does not make it to the new note.
