file drag-n-drop creates an url with missing file:/// (bgo604671) #22

[reply] [−] Description bugra [reporter] 2009-12-16 02:14:24 UTC if you want to link to a file, and drag and drop the file from windows explorer the created link is missing the prefix 'file:///' so when you edit the note the file link will reverted to normal text. if you add manually the 'file:///' prefix then it reverts to a link (blue and underlined) as it should be and also the link works fine.

also the link is encodes all non-alpha numeric characters e.g. 
file:///C:%5CDocuments%20and%20Settings%5CAdministrator%5CMy%20Documents%5C I can live with it as long as the link works, even if it doesn't look very appealing...
