Attack glitch when sending two different troop types to the same barb camps from the same city #66

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.If you try to send cavs and hcavs to the same barb camp type, and do not have
both cavs and hcavs in the city you want to launch attacks from .... NO attacks
will launch from that city...
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would have expected attacks to still go out for cavs if they were in city,
but unless both types are present, NO attacks will launch. So suggestion would
be to explain better about the attack table for troops...recommend just
entering the troop counts for the city you are attacking from.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
KocAttack -yes
Powertools -yes
Powerbot/Toolkit -yes extra features v. 0.8.8.1

Operating System - Windows 7
Firefox Version - 3.6.16

Please provide any additional information below.

What do you mean by "send cavs and hcavs to the same barb camp type"?

Hi Jonte....OK, I will try to explain it better.

When you search for barb camps, say levels 1 - 3 and then try to enter troop
counts for both Hcavs and Cavs in your attack spreadsheet but select a city
that has only one of these two types, NO attacks will launch. I think its a
glitch because it should launch attacks if one of the troop types is in the
particular city.

In my case, I had filled in the entire attack spreadsheet for each city
including archers, ballistae, cavs and Hcavs and found the error when barbing
similar barb levels with more than one troop type.

I hope this helps you.

Whatever you input in the attack box will be the troops that the script will
attempt to send. FOr example if you send an attack to coords 231,566 and you
type in 1000 cavs and 2000 hcavs, if you save it that way, then the script will
send 1000cavs AND 2000 hcavs to that target every X hours. If you have only
1000cavs in that city and 0 hcavs, the attack will NOT send

Jonte, thanks for explaining that...It makes sense, but I don't think many
people know it....

Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to educate me on it....thanks again
for the good work you do!
