IMPORTANT: LIBRARY NOT MAINTAINED AND IS OUTDATED (use alternative) #1038

Hey guys,

Just a quick FYI, this library is not maintend and using soon-to-be deprecated lifecycle functions in React. I wasted 2 hours to find this out as its author does not want/care to let us know.

I'm gonna use this @react-google-maps/api as it is maintained and up to date.

@coderdix The repo of this project is unmaintained more than a year, and we had build new version https://www.npmjs.com/package/@react-google-maps/api

We had rewrite it to TypeScript, and updating it frequently: https://github.com/JustFly1984/react-google-maps-api/tree/master/packages/react-google-maps-api You can enjoy autocomplete.
