... it should be in the repository. Every time when a new version is released and deployed, the timezone in environment.rb is overwritten. For me (in NL), it means that after every deployment I need to change the timezine to "Amsterdam" and "Europe/Amsterdam".
The solutionmight be to move environment.rb into shared/config, and make a symlink into the release. I am currently testing this, i.e. environment.rb in shared/config, and a symlink to this file in the release.
