Is this patch because you did a trial build and it failed? (I've just noticed that the CI was not setup to do weekly test builds :-(

I've been hesitant to change versions of uboot without re-testing the resulting image - do you have the hardware to test the version change? Alternatively, can you change the patch to force the package version to stay the same (see boards/sun8i-h2-plus-orangepi-zero/Makefile for an example)

Yes, sorry was a bit light on the commit message. I've updated the PR to pin the versions. A better approach for sure.
