The website homepage is functional but not especially flashy. While the rest of the website does well to simply display the markdown from the GitHub repo this does not allow us to make anything really graphically nice such as a neat hero image or a sponsors section (see #66).
The final page should display many of the same things but work a little differently and look nicer! Tasks will be broken down in this issue.
