Program shows up as damaged in Mavericks OSX #257

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Download 
2. Try to open
3. Interface says program is damaged

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Whenever possible, please attach the latest log file. It will
provide valuable information when trying to reproduce and locate the
problem. Log files can be found in the log directory under the main
application directory and are marked with date and time.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

You must allow 3rd party apps in your OSX config

- Install the latest version of Java
- System Preferences / Security & Privacy / General / Allow apps downloaded 
from 'Anywhere'
- Right-click on DIYLC installer & click 'Open'
- Once the installation has completed: System Preferences / Security & Privacy 
/ General / Allow apps downloaded from 'Mac App Store and identified 
developers' (or whatever your previous setting was
