We want to decode RDS ( and possibly DAB at some future time ). The board we plan to use is this http://www.monkeyboard.org/products/85-developmentboard/80-dab-fm-digital-radio-development-board
This will be another option. Display RDS. It will need a frequency range, but not a mode. You don’t talk to this with hamlib. There is a dodgy python lib referenced from that webpage. Have a look. I ended up writing C.
