Enhancement request

I'd like a way to switch off, switch on the extension without visiting about:addons

A browser action or page action, maybe?

@grahamperrin I had considered this, I think the ultimate reason I settled on not including it was so that the change felt more permanent. Kind of like making it harder to cheat on a diet. But I have mixed feelings.

I'm curious though, in what situations do you find yourself wanting to switch back and forth?

Sorry for the late reply (catching up with things after a few weeks without a proper computer).

Personally I guess, the simplest explanation is:

a) I sometimes want to reduce clutter just for a few minutes; and

b) about:addons can be clunky, especially if many extensions are installed.

Less personally, imagine use in an educational environment where a tutor or demonstrator wants viewers to:

  1. primarily focus on video content, with minimal distractions; then
  2. secondarily (later) access additional context i.e. what's hidden by Grey Vision UI.
