At present it's open source but no licence is offered as the original game design belongs to John E Dell (from interviews, he seems cool with open source versions of his game but without explicit permission, it feels wrong to assign a licence and I haven't tracked him down yet.)
If you don't want to include it, that's fine. The option though is open and this github issue can be considered my explicit permission to do so! :)
