Solution :

running spacialisation in the graph view runs first the ref-ref spacialisation then metadata one for a fix duration
running spacialiastion can't be stopped it runs for a fix duration

I can't say it solves the issue, but I tweaked a bit the initial layout, so that:

Nodes can't be at the exact same position before FA2 runs (this fixes some potential layout issues, since some pairs were never split before)
Some FA2 runs on the full graph before the initial rendering

It makes the UX on small graphs much better, in my opinion.
