I am adding a link to Fluentd.org in your README.md file to put Fluentd in context for newcomers.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree that it is better to add link to fluentd project.

But "Fluent::Plugin::Forward, a plugin for Fluentd-AWS" does not make sense since Forward-AWS is the name of plugin

I have updated README to "Forward-AWS, a plugin for Fluentd"
