Center vertically (or align below status-bar) #163

I often view figures, such that there is a lot of vertical space left. It could be nice to allow a vertical center.

At the least it would be nice to always align below the status bar if vertical space is left. Currently, I find it often super-imposed over my figure, with the rest of my screen empty. See for example:
