If you liveboot another up-to-date distro, do you still have this problem? GNOME not even showing options makes me think something is mis-configured.
Tryied out EndeavourOS from usb and this is it:
Have you manually tried setting the resolution with xrandr
, while running X11? Maybe it's just not being reported as an available resolution. I'm not sure which project you'd report that to though.

I did some months ago, I remember it wouldn't show up anyway in the dropdown. In my entire life I've never seen such strange behaviour in hw/sw bugs lmao
small update, situation got worse, now i can't even change resolution at all, I'm on KDE in tumbleweed on kernel 6.4 and mesa 23.1.3.
All resolution are in the dropdown, all under 1800p shows only 60hz option for refreshrate, all of them lead to black screen if applied. What. The. Fuck
I am experiencing difficulties setting the resolution to 2560x1600 on Linux for my Yoga. This issue persists across desktop environments (GNOME and KDE personally tested). While on Windows 11, I can easily set the resolution to 2560x1600 without any issues, but on Linux, I encounter this problem. In GNOME the option for resolution won't even show up in the dropdown, on KDE the option is in the dropdown (90hz option does not exist, forced to 60hz), but if selected and applied, the screen goes black. Both DEs won't work neither Wayland nor Xorg.
Additional info: My laptop is the one with 1800p 90hz monitor and touchscreen.
