When I investigated a little bit before, the GPU seemed to have the highest draw, at around 2-3W at idle. Tweaking the kernel through userspace didn't have much of an effect, so we'd probably have to hope for some kernel / firmware optimisations to lower that.
Corectrl to limit GPU spikes is the only suggestion for now. Poor poor compatibility for this unlucky laptop unfortunately
I am a bit shocked how badly supported the AMD 6000 series has been honestly. I have always heard high praise for AMD, but this laptop has been nothing but trouble with CPU and GPU.

A colossal potential dropped in the trash for no reason... I will just live till Qualcomm releases the second gen of new arm socs, then i will fully switch to ARM for my laptop work pipeline
Anyone got tips on improving battery life? 1080p youtube playback uses 14-18 watts with hardware acceleration enabled at idle it uses 6.8 watts i'm using amd_pstate=active with the powersave governor
