How can I get Pixel values?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. trying to use cvGet2D(,,); But I can't find that method
2. trying to use bufferedImage, getRGB() is return nagative values.. is that 
right?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
javacv-bin-20110407
java version "1.6.0_21"
eclipse helios
window xp 32bit
