Shortcuts don't work when kitty is active #514

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Configure a short cut for open session (IE Ctrl, Shift, / (Oem5))
2. Select putty/kitty window.
3. Attempt shotcut combination.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Open Session to appear. Instead nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest. Win7

Please provide any additional information below.
Works when other parts of the GUI is selected.
