The Open Network Browser #403

Nowadays, most honors for community principle developers are on the Telegram platform for interconnectivity.

However, as a decentralized platform, this alone is not sufficient. We can develop a browser based on open-source software like Chromium and prioritize our core functionality within it.

This initiative is worth considering; it is not about bounty, grants, coding, projects, money, companies, or business. It is about humanity and freedom, the most important values in the world.

People deserve an open-source, community-based piece of software to own their data and not depend on giant companies. This software returns power to the people, those who deserve this entity.

As a first-class TON-powered functionality, this software, through the use of a peer-to-peer network, can have a huge impact on freedom of speech, reducing reliance on government censorship, and helping to spread justice and knowledge.

This initiative can serve as a strong foundation for building the full potential of TON capabilities in a central place.

It may seem daunting, but it is not.

With the emergence of AI, programming will become a natural language soon, and smart contracts will play a significant role in human life. The era of the trustless paradigm initializes and we should prepare ourselves for it.

I assume this text's audience is familiar with what intention it follows and the mentioned concept and its relation with TON is obvious, although I am ready to discuss more.

A suggestion. Since there are so many browsers and most are chromium-based, except for firefox and some of its derivatives such as LibreWolf, Mullvad, TOR, why should TON add another one to the list? Wouldn't it be simpler to choose a browser like Brave that is based on chromium, open source with an MPLv2 licence, among the best in terms of privacy-preserving features and with Web3 functionality such as a BAT, builtin wallet with EVM and Solana support and Filecoin partial support (better than Metamask, Phantom and Opera)? Why reinvent the wheel every time? If Brave wouldn't cooperate, TON could fork it to inherit all the security and privacy features absent on Chromium. Best Regards
