Summary

We propose to create the massive open online course (MOOC) that will allow audience with technical background to deep into blockchain technology with the TON ecosystem overview. Course is supposed to be uploaded to the world famous learning platforms such as Coursera and edX. Moreover, tens of thousands of people are expected to be educated simultaneously. This enables them to involve more contributors to the ecosystem development and spread awareness of this technology as well. Work on the course creation is quite complicated and consists of several consistent steps.

The course will involve leading speakers from Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East and India with course creation experience. As part of the course, not only quizzes but also tasks will be developed that allow you to interactively get acquainted with the tools of the TON ecosystem and gain practical experience in using them.

Context

At the moment, the leading mass learning platforms do not have any courses on introduction to the TON ecosystem, aimed at diversifying the needs of students from different regions and taking into account the specifics of blockchain technology use in a given region.

The course to be created will outline the format for creating such content, taking into account the best practices of pedagogical design and taking into account the context of learners. This will ensure a wide coverage of the audience.

Goals

  1. Create a course on introduction to blockchain technology on a mass learning platform, with practical tasks allowing to get experience of real use of the tools of the TON ecosystem.
  2. Involve experts from different geographies and regions in the creation of the course and take into account the peculiarities of blockchain technology use in different contexts in the course creation process.
  3. Conduct beta testing of the course and refine it based on the results of beta testing.
