I am unable to refresh my vehicle information, each time I do I get the following email, and my account password has to be reset. I have deleted the script, uninstalled the scriptable app and restarted my phone several times.

IBM Security Verify Your account xxxxxxx@xxxxx.com on tenant sso.ci.ford.com was locked at 2022-07-09T22:08:07Z because of too many failed password attempts. Contact your system administrator to reset your password.

Same, and cannot complete the install. Never finds my vehicle.

Two days ago I tried this script. When it didn't work I removed it and uninstalled Scriptable. This morning at 1 am I got the same email that my account was locked from IBM security. Now I know I am not trying this again and I strongly encourage you to change your pasword.

And again today at 12:12 I got another locked out message. 48 hours since uninstalling and changing my password.

I continue to get notifications daily about my account being locked.

It seems that the tool is still polling info from the ford account. In that case that it is pinging the ford account using the VIN Ford Pass service will not enable the account again. (What they told me) How can I stop the widget to ping the account even when I have it not installed anymore?

I have the same issue as @Detba. Where is the developer of this? Zero response. Time to reach out to GitHub and perhaps law enforcement as he is attempting to get into accounts with his tool.

I have opened a ticket with Github that will hopefully get this resolved. To be clear I do not have Scriptable installed on my device, so I have nothing that is running this code. The lockouts are happening without my participation.

Based on the homebridge plugin this "tool" is getting people perm banned by Ford and the developer is completely silent. No response from Github either.

Wow just wow! Law enforcement? I’m not doing anything but providing a script that is 100% open sourced and available for open review and because I’ve been so busy busy with my family, job, and other projects you try to punish me?

I have zero insight, access, or incentive to attempt to mess with people’s accounts. I have no access to your device or your ford account info. The odds are that because it’s running using scriptable + iCloud it synced to another device with iCloud and might be running there.
I’m just as pissed at Ford as you are at me! At least I was able to help push ford to finish the there new API so I can make The widget work without getting our accounts locked. I will provide an updated once I have more news on the API
