Window Shades don't update status #321

When using an Automation (in Homekit/Home) to open/close Shades, their status is not being updated in Homebridge nor Homekit nor the Smartthings App (all versions).

The Window Shades are physcially moving fine though, that's working fine...

Also, they will then not move again, until you press 'Refresh' on the ST app and their status gets updated/notified to Homebridge/Home/Smartthings, and then it will move again.

Needless to say, if I use ST either directly or through Routines, their status is updated on all platforms....

As a test, I also exposed an ST PowerOutlet to Homebridge/Homekit, and its on/off were updated when using Home/Homekit - so this may be limited to just WindowShades

I've moved my Automations back into Routines on ST, and status updates are all fine/live on ST/Homekit - so is definitely Homebridge that's not doing something right here.

Do we have an issue here with Window Shades ??

I am seeing something similar on the latest versions with my shades.

I believe this is related to ST issues. Things have been a mess lately with device control and device events. I suspect that events are not being relayed via the smart app. Try opening the smart app and pressing done to resubscribe to the events

Nothing has changed in recent versions related to shades

I ended up rebuilding my Homebridge installation from scratch, and that seemed to resolve my issues.
