I'm running my Kasa, Sengled, and other plugins via smartthings. My Kasa HS220 will not update its power status in Homekit after being manually turned on by the switch. In contrast, my wifi Sengled bulb will update Homekit of its power status every time just fine.
What do I need to do to get Homekit to retrieve the current power status. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Ultimately, I would like to automate my lights and having them turn on only when the state is off and also not alter the state if the power is already on.
